Law or belief?

Democracy - Greeks.

Medicine, you could also include the Hypocratic Oath in this.

Religion - Well, you always get a lot of baggage with most belief systems. No helping that. But the idea of One god came from the Summerian gods. Il and Jehova were interchangable for a while.

Pretty much everything that we enjoy today will have come from an ancient civilization. The concept of 24 hr days, crops, beer, buildings, writing, numbers, would have all come from the Summarian civilization.

Rome was good for roads, Laws, building techniques (Concrete), military organization.

Many civilizations contributed to Maths, science and Astronomy.

In general, take your pick.
