I found out yesterday when I PHONED my brother, that my grandmother is in hospital in a coma for 2 weeks now, and no1 bothered 2 phone me and tell me! The rest of my family ALL knew exept 4 me. Why is it I'm always last 2 find out when something happens? I asked them why they didn't phone me, and their excuse is they forgot to phone. Am I not important enough, how can they FORGET to phone me but they phone everyone else in the family!
I am so mad, I decided if I get married I will forget 2 invite them!

There are many reasons for it....1) maybe because they don't want you to worry specially if your the youngest among your siblings...2) you might get depressed after knowing it, they don't want you to experience depression...3) they sure were finding the right time and place to tell it to you.
Look at the reasons, does it mean they are cruel to you? no, they LOVE you that's why.... i bet youre still young to understand coz you sound rebelious too... talk to them in a nice manner, ask them why....

Your right that was a very cruel thing to do. And that excuse just doesn't fly. Everyone forgot to call? But do you really want to be like that. Try forgiving them, you wont forget it, but you can forgive,And after everything calms down, sit your parents down and tell them their thoughtlessness hurts you deeply. And in future you expect a phone call. Maybe type up a emergency call list and hand it to them so they cant use that one again.

Maybe if you contacted people on a regular basis, and asked about Grandmother, you would have known?
Maybe the rest of the family is in closer and more frequent contact that you choose to be.
Why are YOU blaming them??????
HOpefully you won't marry for some time, as it is apparent you are still quite im-mature, and need to better develop your relationship skills...... heaven help any potential husband material.

I'm agree that you family is amiss. I have a sister like that. She burns up the phone lines telling everyone else the "news", but never calls me. So now when I get important news, as far as I'm concerned, she will be the last one I will call.

Hmmm... well isn't not inviting them to your wedding doing them a favor... I say get married and make the ceremony over 8 hours long... (but yeah, how could they not call you... maybe your gradma secretly doesn't like you... or your family just desn't like... man I sound negative... I'm rabling on aren't I...)

Maybe you should keep in touch with your family more often.
Quit being so immature and work on repairing your relationship with your family.

my parents ignore me i felt like a house guest through high school. On my senior year they made me pay rent.. ultimately i learned that what you parents do to you gives you two options.
follow their example
become better than they are.
