It will be an extremely big problem! You'll have to calculate a lot of numbers if you will be doing budgetting and year end reports. Not to mention the added stress that will be added onto you, since you'll be in charge of keeping track of the company's money.

OMG, I'm the same! I freeze and become lightheaded if i have to do a sum on the spot. Are you a creative person by any chance? People who tend to be creative and imaginative aren't very good at maths and visa versa. It's something to do with opposite sides of the brain. If i was you I would take my time with the projects based around maths, (use a calculator!!)and if you're stuck ask for some help, there's no shame in it. But if you find it too much you might have to re-think about your choosen career path hun.

I almost have the same problem except that I am still in high school and when I enter one of my 3 math classes I freeze up. But don't worry you have the power to do anything you put your mind to. All you have to do is believe. Don't let your instincts ruin a perfect job opportunity. I would also set up a meeting with a therapist to see how you couldget rid of this problem. In the meantime during your free time I would practice elementary math and work your way up the ladder to harder types of math in order to rid yourself of this phobia.

I hope that everything works out for you!

Most or all companies use Software, but, you may have problems anyway.
You may never be able to understand what the software is doing, and you should.

I said "never" but that's not true.

You may need some coaching from a good mentor.
Math is not as complicated as it seems. Addition and subraction are inter related, as is multiplication and division.
Fairly simple, once they are explained properly and clearly.
Advanced Scientific math is more so.

Good luck.
