I have a 2007 accord and I am trying to figure out how to turn the backseat light on from the front seat. Normally, there is something in the front so I can do it, but I can't find it. I looked in my owners manual and couldn't find it.

The light I am talking about is over the backseat, not in the center (there isn't one in the center) So I can't reach it from the driver's seat. I need to be able to turn it on so I can see my children when we are driving at night.

Well after all that she says she has only one light in the center & one switch. She has the 2 door, you must have the 4 door.
I am sorry I thought I had your answer. I'm sure the dealer can put a light back there with the appropriate switch or show you how to work yours if indeed there is a way..

She said it will be 30 min before she can get back to me. She is a teacher and busy right this minute. Sorry I'll post when she lets me know!

Let me ask my daughter, she just got one too. It will take me a few minutes to text her, but I ll be back ASAP.

I have a 2003 Accord which I believe is the same. If by the backseat light you mean the central dome light, the only way to turn it on is to reach up and move the switch on the light to the "on" position.

In order to turn on the backseat light you either have to maunally turn it on at the light or open the door.

The only lights you can turn on from the front seat are the map lights.
