he falled in love with me but i could never love him back that way... i just wanted him to be my friend..i felt good while i was with him,i used to tell him everything that happened to me and he did the same...he was my best friend but now he doesnt want to talk anymore with me...i guess maybe because it hurts him while he sees me with someone else(by the way i have a boyfriend now)...i dont know why things went this way?? what should i do??how can i forget him??because i know that we ll never be friends anymore...it hurts me when i see him and i have to turn my head by the other side...:(( help me...

Give him some time to lick his wounds, so to speak, and then call him, let him know whenever he is ready to pick up where you left off, that you'll be there.

I see this as one of these moments that define a person. Will you do what is in your best interest or will you do what is in his.
Look at it this way. The pain you feel when you see him. Is the same pain he feels when he sees you. It is very hard to be friends with someone you love and they do not love you back. Every time he spends time with you it is a reminder of that. Every time he sees you with your boyfriend or you talk about your boyfriend good or bad. These are just constant reminders of the person he loves is with someone else.
I know it is very hard but all you can do is tell him how you feel and let him tell you how he feels. Then you have to leave it up to him. Hopefully over time as he finds a new love in his life. Renewing your friendship might be a little easier on both of you.

No you cannot be friends any more. He is trying to get over the pain of your not loving him. Remember he hurts just as much as you do.
Losing a best friend is very painful and it leaves an empty hole in your life.
The interesting thing is that most marriages are really good friendships either first or after the lust and flames die down.
He actually could have been THE ONE.

he probably confused you being such a good and dependable friend with maybe the thought you liked him more than you really do.
Sit down with him and explain that you never meant to hurt him or mislead him and that you couldn't imagine not having him as a friend.
