As the matter of fact, we all do...People invented religion and gods of all kind, even human ones...One just got to accept the facts, and those are: we are interactive beings and through our interaction everything is achieved, everything humanly possible...Outside humanity, there is just nature, and space...

Depends on what you mean by God. I think that the universe has a set of ultimate laws that govern all it was, is and will be. That set of laws has spawned vacuum, given birth to galaxies... so is this God? As every major religion says, it is everywhere, it created everything. If these set of laws were different (as it might be, and probably must be in universes other than ours) then the world we know would be different. We, ourselves, would be different. All that we are reflect the nature of the universe, all we can be or shall be are defined by what may or may not happen according to its laws.
But I don't hold with the thought that God must be a conscious thing. Universe is a cold, cold place- it doesn't care for humans or think at all. Earth is a pretty small place in this universe- to think that a God created us 'in His image' to hold Lordship over all we survey- quintessential human arrogance. There's no welcoming arms waiting for you after your life is finished, in all probability, only an end to your existence- but you're welcome to think there is, since it won't matter anyway in that case. Living on earth without the help of God means nothing, for this God has made you not because he wished to, but you were a probability and you came here by chance. Maybe that's a little harsh- but since I've never seen the evidence of a God that helps us, and have seen many who spill blood in 'His' name... I suppose you get my point of view.

Sure you can .just look at the answers above me.lots of people in the world just go on with their lives ,some quite productively.
the sad thing is life is just a blink of the eye and then eternity.
Id think that in it self would make a person at least willing to check out the "GOD thing"to make sure they really wanted to live without him.To "make sure" that they really dont need him.
I lived without GOD, I ran my own show ,for the same reasons stated above .and then as the emptiness of my life began to spiral out of control and i was heading for an abyss of insanity,I rethought my position on NOT NEEDING GOD.
Every moment of my last 27 years has been a gift from the ONE so many claim does not exist.
My path ,MY control was leading me to certain insanity and death.
I cried out to the one I did not believe would help me .
He answered.
He will do the same for you.
Sure you can live without him ,I choose not to.
Peace of CHRIST ><>

No we need to surrender to God...................
We sometimes wonder Why???Why is my life this way etc...Why has God not answered my questions....
But he has if we listen in the silenence and hear what he says............
There are many things in my life that are not settled but all my life I have worked hard and honest and I know God protects me and is on my side I put my pain my hopes and Joy in him because he does have a master plan that I may not know in this life time :))))
He brings me such light and peace that I am here living to spread it to others and get them out of their darkness and their souls can be aware.................
God will always be there calling is home.............................

just take alook at the way the world is going! it has gotten worse and worse over time.do you really think mankind can survive without some sort of direction. when you look at todays governments and political figures do you feel secure? do you think to yourself "yes those guys no what there doing" do you trust them?
as it says in the bible: "it does not belong to man who is walkng even to direct his step"
do you think this world is goin to get any better? it seem like the things on the news are just getting worse and worse. crimes you would never of even imagined are happening all around us.
i think the answer to you question is no. re evaluate the way the world is going and the trail it has left behind i think you will feel the same. look to the bible for help and guidance.
EDIT: i see alot of people are saying because of wars and blood spilt in his name that we are better with out him BUT where in the bible does god tell us fight for his name. where does he say murder? he doesnt if people do not follow gods laws anymore and "decide" that fighting for religion is the right thing to do that isnt God's fault. the bible gives hope for the future where god will intervene. and that "war will be no more" and "the meek will inherit the earth"

actually not. because.. everything in this earth is to him. he created all the earth, animals, person and that includes you.
we can't live without the help of God because, he controls and guides us everyday, he is our source of strength, love, peace and we can find frienship to God especially when we're really going or in the wrong path and we're hopeless in times of trials.
>>Trusting God completely means having faith that he knows what is best for your life>>

We have been managing thus far. Unfortunately many of the nastier wars in the world have been fought in the name of God, each side believing he is on their side. The final proof for the non existence of god.

Most definitely.
The existence, or lack thereof, of God is irrelevant to how a person lives his or her own life.

I think the world is getting worse off because as a society, we are getting away from God and the good and right things in life. Everything is justified and right and wrong aren't clear cut anymore. We need to learn and suffer consequences of our actions,,,good or bad,,,and we have had alot of bad ones.

This is your Test
to find whether your mission here on Earth is finished.
If you are alive,
it isn't.

The answers you have read here are each subjective to the individuals rationale regarding your Question and their Experiences relating to 'How they read it.'
We can each live here and (as it were) pay no rent, or alternatively, pay rent to the Owner.
There are a great many people who choose to live rent free.

We'd all get on a lot better without the "help" we get from religion.
Good people will always do good things, bad people will aleays do bad things. God and religion are just excuses used by people who can't accept responsibility for their own actions.
