The London Train bombings, I seriously thought something had happened to my dad, he got off the train 5 minutes before it happened. How lucky is that?

It was only for a split second, but I was petrified as I sat in the passenger seat of my SUV and watched a truck hit us as it sped through a red light. I later learned the truck had hit about 9 inches up from the compartment where I sat. No wonder I sustained the worst injuries of anyone in the crash...I'm thankful the "petrified" part lasted a mere fraction of a second.

My sister her son and me and my daughter went hiking in the rain forest. While we were picking wild raspberry's my sisters son found a big one and called out to me to look, as I turned around the ground beneath him crumbled and slid into a ravine. He disappeared right before my eyes, I screamed and dove to the ground with the front half of my body hanging over the ledge. I looked down and there he was about six feet down on a rock that was coming out of the ravine wall. The rock was only the size of home plate. In that moment he disappeared I felt a dread that I have never felt before, or since. Because at the bottom of the ravine was a rushing river, and he couldn't swim. Luckily enough my sister and I could reach him when he stood up and stretched his arms, we each grabbed an arm and pulled him up. This all happened when I was 6 mo pregnant with my second child. And when we started the three mile hike back I started having cramps, it was a scary day, but we got through it and everything ended up ok.

It had to be so long ago, that I can't recall . . of yeah, I know that time I saw Candy Man for the first time, then stumbled through the dark to my bathroom mirror to say Candy Man, 3 times and have him appear. Quite a scare I had, thinking that he was going to appear behind me and scare the living stuffing out of me with that bloody hook he had for a hand!

I found out last week I was born with a birth defect in my spine. I've been in pain for years, they finally figured out what it is. I'm 38- It will only get worse. I'm trying to be positive- but I'm scared to death. I don't know why I just admitted that- I haven't even let on to my husband I'm scared.

...When I moved into a small house in a new town that was infested with spiders. I woke up with one on my face and had them all over, everywhere in my place... It was so bad, I felt like jumping out of my skin and coming back for it later.
