I must do cos I have got my Mum to order it for me for Christmas. Okay it's not brilliant but it does have a certain appeal to it, and I still love it.

i do. tom hanks wrote, produced, directed and starred in that movie. he also wrote some of the songs. and if there's a rerun, i would watch it again.

I agree; it wasn't Gone With The Wind, but it was a very enjoyable little period piece about the early sixties music scene. The performances are just perfect for each role, and of course, it's got Tom Hanks as the manager/producer! Go ahead and love it without apology, it's cool!
ps Remember the scene where they get put into the "beach" movie? That was done all the time! The Dave Clark Five, Herman's Hermits, and even "Little" Stevie Wonder all had to do those kind of movies!

Oh yes! Giovanni Ribisi was charming in that movie, and Liv Tyler too. The soundtrack also rocks!

Tom Hanks not that old.. about a singing goup in the early 60's lead singer that guy in "Dirty Sexy Money" and agent who discovered them...
