That depends on what you mean, I have spent a considerable amount of time in the US.
'Ordinary' Americans are warm friendly people generous and hospitable. Absolutely no different from the people in say Egypt, India or Germany.
I say this not as a tourist but as someone who has lived and worked in places as diverse as Africa, America and Asia.

If you mean the current political administration then no I am not.

The trick is to separate the 'people' from the 'government'. Unless one has actually lived in another country it is difficult to be objective. Relying on media (movies, news etc.) gives a very jaundiced view of any country, even ours!

I'm an American. It's my blood, my heritage, my culture. So I'm always pro-American. But being proud of my heritage, my country, and who I am doesn't mean I'm anti-someone else, e.g. Italians being proud to be Italian doesn't mean they're anti-American. I believe America to be the greatest nation on the earth. I would hope others feel the same way about their own countries.

If the question is about the war, I think it was the right thing to do, but the wrong strategy. For our own security, we need to blow the tyrants out of the ME. It should also be done with brute force, much more than was used, then we get out. In other words, the fight was right, but trying to be "missionaries" (for the lack of a better word), is wrong. The only true chance for the people over there to have success is to fight amongst themselves and rebuild on their own.

If the question is about our government, then I can best answer that by quoting a local radio talk show host (who has since passed away):

"I love my country, but I fear my government."

Neither
I'm pro-Canadian.
I like Americans, they're decent neighbours, good people and I like their football.
Just don't like the government, the fear mongering in their media or their politics.

Some of the wingnuts believe that if you don't show fealty and your undying love of the US then you hate America, utter rubbish. I support the US when Canadian and American values are in sync.

Until I actually meet a nice, kind, well educated one with an ounce of common sence who doesn't throw the we won the war in my face every ten seconds then I will stay Anti

Come on prove me wrong!

Maybe I should point out that I know that not all Americans are going to be like that just that they are the ones who seem to travel to Europe and show you all up!
