I agree with 30 especially if you plan on having a couple of kids. Say you have two children by the time you are 35. You will be 50 when the youngest one is 15. Anything beyond that would be to much of a generation gap. It would almost be like being a grandparent to this teenager rather than a parent.

The optimal age to think about marriage is 30. But why would you want to make yourself miserable?

I would think that 35 would be an ideal age for a male because that is the age determined to be the one he would need to be to run for Congress. Enough maturity to handle government or a marriage.
One study showed that high school or less educated were 4X more likely to think that 21 was a good age to marry.
Another site points out that the male brain takes up to 26 +/- 2 years to mature. It would be nice to have that worked out BEFORE the rings go on.

It was 30 for me as well. I wanted to get married and start my family by then. However, I urge anyone to wait until you know for sure that this is the person you want to spend your days with. It's good to have a goal set, but don't just go ahead with it when the time comes because of it.
Good Luck:)

There is no optimal age if it is with your soul mate, but i would say at least 25 to give yourself time to grow up and settle down some

I think it depends on the person and the experience in life previous to that. 30 is probably good, but if you want kids, you may want to start earlier. I was 25 when I got married. 27 and 29 when I had my two kids. No regrets.

Um..I would say 27-28, 30 is a good age but if you intend on having kids, then it's better to get married sooner.

It depends....in my opinion, 2 persons should get married only when they are able to live by themselves without needing financial help from their parents. I would say after collage and only after starting a career. I guess 27 would be the right age. Of course, everyone dose as they please.
