I'm a Capricorn he was a Taurus, we are divorcing after 31 years, we should not have gotten married, but hey it was the 70's I did love him. Doesn't this just make your day, if the two of you get along great, but if I were you,.... live together for one year and see what happens.

Do you get along? Are your values similar or the same? Is there anything about her you COULDN'T live with?
And you are normally suited as you are both EARTH signs. The bull is a "fixed" sign and the goat is "Cardinal", another plus.
What is really important is how you two connect. Everyone has a chart and the planets in the chart can be opposing even though the "Sun sign" is compatible.
