My bra is about 4mths old, so it's still considered new. The underwire broke not because i machine washed it. I never do. I don't know why it broke, wear and tear maybe but it's a little too early for wear and tear i think.

It's always hand washed. It cost me a 100 bucks. So what can i do to salvage it? It's really pretty by the way, a lovely hot pink that i love.

The underwire is usually sewn into a pocket just under the bra cup. If you snip the end of this pocket you can remove the broken wire. You can then remove the underwire from an old bra and insert this into the bra you like so much. Just stitch the snip and it should be as good as new.

The broken piece, seeking 'detachment' from a lovely, bright friend, after such a short relationship span, probably wants to transmit the lesson that 'one should never get attached to anything: detachment is the essence of philosophy that takes you on the road to happiness.'. After looking at that lesson with due regard and deliberation, move on to practical planes, and get the snapped wire mended! A 'tuck'job, a 'stent' job or some darning -- surely there is a way to repair and put the bra back in commission: some 'home remedy' simply would settle the issue, if you have the right kind of kit, some time for cementing the relationship back, and the inclination! Happy salvaging!

Return it. A $100 bra should not break!

Where did you buy it? Do you have the receipt? If not go to store ask for MANAGER and tell them you bought it 4 months ago and you took very good care of it. If they don't give refund or store credit. Ask for manufacturers telephone number and ask for the supervisor. Tell them what happened.

I agree if you spent that much the store should take a look at it and replace it or something like that.
