If I had to make a choice, I would say by how many people that have loved me because some people think that love in fighting and abuse. I once worked in a battered women's shelter and about 80% of those women would say, "He hits me because he loves me!" I don't think that hitting someone is love.

I measure the value of life by the treasures-
This being the wonderful people in my life- not material things.
I love unconditionally and nonjudgementally.
You must look within to have some self-satisfaction with your life- and try to make the best of what you can do for others.
It is a win/win situation, in either case. I have life long friends- those who have been with me since birth (family)- and those friends I've met along the way. I've been blessed with the best in the people I've met and love. I also work in the Medical Field, and have truly met the most remarkable people (and bravest) a person could ever meet. Again, I measure the value of life by the treasures- and have been blessed with many.
Have a good day and God Bless You!

Well MJR....if, in fact, we are judged by the behavior of our children, then I am truly blessed. Mine are all very successful,
loving, kind, considerate, treat me like a queen and are also wonderful parents. If I had to measure the value of my life by
how many people I've loved and how many have loved me then I still feel very blessed on both counts.

You've loved, & Have loved you. That is past tence to me. As for present tence, I have a lot of love for many people in my heart, and if others have love in there heart for me makes not much difference. Hence the value of my life is not measures by myself , but by God the creater alone. My opinion may not be anothers opinion. I accept the opinions of others to be different than mine. That's ok.

In life it is great to love and be loved, but the real value comes in leaving the world a better place by you having been in it.

I hope to be judged on the many lives I have touched in a positive way. I would hope along this path of life, someone would have loved me. I have loved and cared about many people in my life. Some of those people just briefly and others have been there for years. I just wish to be positive energy and be kind, compassionate and considerate of others that cross my path.

In my opinion the value of life should not be measured. Just live.love.laugh.and enjoy. Not everyone experiences love and that does not mean their life was not worth living .stop worrying about how good it is and just live.

No, measure the value of a life based on the number of lives he or she have changed for the better.
It is like an investment, the more you invest the richer you are.

I think by how many people have loved you. Love is so elusive--just because you send it out, doesn't mean it is really reciprocated; much like the Hippie movement of the '60's. the "generation of love" was an empty love, so the movement disintegrated. However, if you can generate that love by touching someone else's life that it engenders real fellings, then it is genuine.
