I recently had an op and my fiance took time off work to look after my son and myself. When I came out of the op he gave me a bunch of red roses which cheered me up.

Took me in and gave me a hot meal, let me take a hot shower and gave me a couch to sleep on for the night when it was really cold out when I was homeless, then next day took me to a local trailer park and paid one months rent and the deposit so I had a place to live. I had a job and it was all I needed to get back on my feet, I'll be forever thankful and in her debt.

When I was homeless about 15 yrs ago a man came up to me in Bristol and offered me £10 for nothing. He said I could keep it if I spent it on food, so I did.

the kids from africa
i was there recently and though they have nothing for themselves they were willing to share their food with me
it really opened my eyes that day
i was always a spoilt brat my parents got me everything i ever wanted and i took that for granted and never knew the value of things and these kids cherished the smallest chocolates and old hand me down clothes they got
it tsught me to be grateful for what i have

2 years ago i was in a coma for 4weeks my family were there all the time when i came round all the hospital staff were brilliant as well

my boyfriend gave me trust. I did not trust men because of things in my past. he was able to show, through patience and actions, that all of the male gender are not untrustworthy

I don't wish to be cynical, but the kindest thing anyone ever did for me was when my ex walked out several years ago. Yippeeeeeee........ But then he was past his sell by date!
