I don't understand how I stand still???

Question

Since the earth is a sphere, the only way you cannot fall off it is if you were at the very top. But I am in California and I am definitely not at the very top.... So how can I stand still, it just makes no sense whatsoever...

It's because you are very light, and whenever you try to fall off, the universe conspires to put you back in california. Think about it, you can't leave CA. In order to do so, you have to pay money, because it is not a spontaneous process. In order for you to fall off, you must put in energy, and the universe will not stand for that.

look at your body and look at how big the earth is....................the power that would make you fall down is nothing beside the power of the earth's gravity....so your power is ignored that you can't be able to fall down to the universal gravity. close your eyes and try to get a view of all that ....like see yourself in Cali and zoom out until you can see the whole earth....then you will realize that you body has no chance to fall............

its just gravity... the earth is like one big magnate... you have to be really high into the air to break through that gravity - and that will only happen when you are past the ozone...
