I disagree... I think everybody is capable of such a crime, whether or not you or I like it, ya know?
But it was just a lashout against that which we don't understand. A great majority of American's (myself included) are quite ignorant of those of other religions, so I don't think those who were attacking Sikhs knew the difference. I'm not trying to say that it was ok, just the opposite, I think that all Americans should try to use this as an excuse to learn about different cultures, different religions, learn from this experience so that it never happens again.
