I had a decently serious relationship earlier in the year that ended after a few months but we somehow managed to salvage a friendship out of it even though it's apparent that on some level we do still have feelings for each other (even though we've dated other people and such). I admit I get slightly jealous when he dates people but it never bothers me too much but lately he's been doing something that's been really pissing me off. He's been actively pursuing my ex's, and current guys I'm talking with SPECIFICALLY after he hears about them from me. I don't talk to him about guys I'm flirting with anymore for this reason. It puts a wedge in me and guys I'm flirting with and to top it off, a few times he's swooned a guy or two away from me. He just has this weird charm about him. It's starting to piss me off because I just want him to go out and find his own men for gods sake. It makes me twice as jealous to see him with a guy I liked. Has anyone else ever encountered this with an ex?

As you know, gay relationships are very competitive. He probably wants to show you he is better than you. Personally I believe you will be happier breaking ties with him. It happened to me too and I am much happier now than what I was when I was "friends" with my "opposition"(ex). Id figure he has feelings of inadequacy that only he knows of and has to keep up with you.

The 2 of you do not need to be "friends." It is time to put a period and move on with your life.
