I agree with that. "Nowhere" and "The Doom Generation" have developed a cult following. I would say that there are worse films to see. I actually wouldn't mind watching them again, should they crop up on some movie channel.

James Duval is one major draw I think, but both have interesting casts. Some of the actors and actresses would break out to bigger things. I really thought Duval would; he's hung in there, so maybe he just needs the right sort of role. Right now, he seems to be most memorable for being Frank the rabbit in "Donnie Darko". He has three films in post-production and one ready for release, so maybe one of those will be The One!

I saw "The Doom Generation" a long time ago. It was pretty good, but nothing outstanding. It's one of those movies that has a cult following, that's why its so popular.

It really depends on you.. I loved Doom Generation because it was unique.. .. and when I'm in the mood for a f'd up movie.. that's the one I pull out.. (I own a copy of it).. I haven't watched Nowhere in years (my copy of that was stolen by an old roomate).. but it's a slightly less f'd up movie.. that I also really liked.

Both movies are REALLY out there.. and rather.. graphic. but if you like that kind of thing.. go for it.
