Apart from e-bay, are there any other simialr sites that sell stuff? Im looking for either a laptop or a notebook to buy. Obviously I would like the site to be safe... I dont want to buy a laptop on the net, and when its delivered it turns out to be a cardboard box... Thanks!!!

compusa, circuit city, best buy. its usually better to buy it at a store than online because of the hassle of shipping and returns.

I never would like anyone to buy a laptop by going through website advertisements. There are plenty of sites which advertises/allures would be customers to buy such items through their skillful misleading advertisements.
I understand your fear of the risk involved.
What you should do is .....identify your requirement.......your budget.....the make.....AND, THEN FIND OUT THE BEST DEALERS IN LAPTOP / COMPUTERS IN YOUR CITY.THE
GOOGLE.COM OR THE YELLOW JOURNALS ON THIS OF ANY CITY WILL GUIDE WHICH SHOP YOU CAN TRY FOR....THE GET UP OF THE SHO, THE SALES PERSONNEL INTERACTING WITH YOU IN A REPUTED SHOP WILL NOT MISGUIDE YOU.
VISIT A FEW SHOPS AND SEE ALL ASPECTS OF DIFFERENT LAPTOPS OF DIVERSE MAKE.
YOUR JUDGEMENT IS FINAL...../THAT SHOULD BE THE ATTITUDE WHEN FINALLY YOU BUY ON. WISH YOU GOODLUCK.

attempt paying for some thing u actual need, yet won't be able to have adequate money authentic now. save each and all of the money that u in many cases purchase cosmetics with and picture concerning the acquisition that u cant have adequate money!! i admire paying for footwear, yet a million time I observed this gorgeous Dereon handbag for $80, my footwear fee $sixty 5. I had to settle foe the handbag, through fact I even have alot of footwear!!!! sturdy luck!

Um, any good technology shop. Ex. Southland...go to the computers place and stuff....you will get a range though....I have a laptop that sucks so make sure it's of good quality and you know what you want to buy:)

Well if I am going to buy online I would use one of the shopping comparison engines out there like, pricegrabber.com which has everything or yuppiecrack.com which has mostly electronics. Buying online is all about saving money for me and there you can find decent deals.
