If you took it to the service department, and were not satisfied, next I'd talk to the sales person that sold it to you. He certainly doesn't want a dissatisfied customer. He can go with you to the service manager to help get this issue resolved. Next I'd talk with the sales manager, for the same reason. If that doesn't work, talk with the store manager, or owner. Remain calm, and let them know that you are dissatisfied. A satisfied customer will tell a few people about their experience. A dissatisfied customer will tell many people of their experience, and the dealership people, especially sales know that.
I sold new and used cars for many years, The 30 day warranty is just a power train warranty, and you signed that in the disclosure. If you go to the dealership and demand they repair it, they may just demand that you leave. Now you have nothing. if you take a little time and talk with them, there's a real good chance they'll repair your car.

I agree with the others no reason to wait a week. Do a little research here on the web, chances are that your are no the only one to have this problem and chances are the repairs for what others have had will also be available. With this information go and talke again with the Dealership and armed with information chances are that you will get your car repaired.

There is no reason that you should have to wait. Don't allow it.
In most states you have 30 days from the time you buy a car to take it back. It is a little known fact. If the car was sold to you with no mechanical problems known then everything is believed to be working. If in those thirty days you find a problem it should be reapaired unless it was bought "as is" if this is the case your stuck with it. In your case you said that it has a warranty. Take it back to the dealership and find the salesman or woman and tell them that you want your money back. It will get fixed...

Good luck.!!!

I call BS on this one.

It sounds as though the door control for the climate control system is not working. Whatever the case may be, there is no need in you "waiting a week" because it has been sitting.

His problem may well be that he already knows what the problem is, and knows it won't be an inexpensive fix (labor OR parts), and is hoping to blow you off until you decide to fix it yourself.

Take it back, tell him you want it fixed, end of story.

Good luck

Demand that they fix it immediately. You shouldn't have to wait a week for your heater to turn on.
