My boyfriend and I have had sex numerous time before, but tonight something really strange happened. We both felt this weird... feeling inside, like something had ripped or torn, and then there was a lot of blood. Of course, we didn't continue, but before when we had sex it was often painful, and my boyfriend found it very difficult to move. He did a couple thrusts after so he said it wasn't so hard and it wasn't so painful during those thrusts, but then he noticed a lot of blood. Could this have been my hymen tearing?

Yes my boyfriend was my first. We've had sex many times before but I've really never bled before.

It could be, but if the bleeding continues, I would go see a gynecologist. It's likely, that before, he was just stretching the hymen, and this time, it broke. If it is still bleeding a couple of days from now, or even day after tomorrow, then I would schedule an appointment.

Residual Hymen

hymens don't always tear during sex, there have been women who've gotten pregnant and went to give birth and the doctor have to cut the hymen out of the way. How embarrassing for the husband though, it's usually small penises that don't tear the hymen, like tampons.

Most likely yes. Is your boyfriend your first? what probably happened, is that he couldnt get past your hymen before so he stopped, maybe this time he thrusted with enough force to break it.
You do bleed when you loose your virginity. How much varies. and yes it does hurt

You have probably lost your virginity now. May be he was not penetrating deep enough to break your hymen. However, if the bleeding is continuing you must see a gyneac. Otherwise there is nothing to worry.

Yes could be because it might have stretched before or not all torn however he could have injuried you internally depends where the blood is from or if you get internal pain

You may in fact have had some residual hymen tissue - it's common for not all of it to be broken. Go to the GYN, however, just in case - no need to take chances with your health.

Yes, that could have been your hymen tearing. I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.

It could be, or the bleeding could be coming from the penis, when the piece of skin on the head could have torn.
