We hear that finally two of the Tapas 7 want to reveal the truth about what really happened on the night of May 3rd but are afraid to do so due to pressure from camp McCann. They are afraid because the McMafia have a host of political heavyweights behind them and no one knows exactly why this is. Why for example has the Prime minister of Great Britain personally been in touch with the McCanns on numerous occasions and spoken to his Portuguese counterpart about making sure that the McCann case is "dealt with properly". The British PM has no right to involve himself in the internal affairs of another country and vice versa. It has never happened before so why now. Why have a number of millionaires who share these friends in high places have come out of the woodwork to cover the McCanns legal costs and PR team. Why should a government spokesman leave his well paid job (which still has not been filled) to go and work as spokesperson for the McCanns.

Why did the Mcs hire the same lawyers used by Pinochet to fight extradition within hours of being made arguidos. All this government involvement is not normal. Why does Clarence deny that any of the Tapas 7 want to change their statements. It should have NOTHING to do with him. His phone calls to the Tapas 7 could be construed as putting more pressure on them to keep quiet. So many questions and so few answers but the political involvement in this case is unprecedented. I just hope that the Tapas friends bow to their consciences and not to the pressure put on them by the McMafia and the British politicians who are doing their utmost to ensure that the truth is never told.

There is no reason why Gordon Brown should be involved in the McCann affair.Something is going on here and it is just a matter of time before the truth comes out.If Brown wants to get involved in internal affairs he should step down as Prime minister.

I think the truth of what happened that night is starting to catch up with these people....and it seems everything was hunky dory between the friends until the media started to question and comment on the actions of the rest of this group being the Tapas 7, its also 7 months nearly since that night, and i would imagine that its fairly easy to keep quiet for a few weeks or even a couple of months ....but when your talking about 7 months..well thats a different story....and i would guess that this has put a massive strain on the relationship between the group....hence giving time for the others to do some serious thinking about their own future credibility....lets face it that when it comes down to it..its every man for himself and you'll save your own skin first Im sure!
I really do wonder if the PJ's have actually been very clever in what they are doing, cause i remember a few months ago there was talk that the police were keeping a British man under surveillance here in the UK...and i still think that person is one of the Tapas 7 although obviously no name was mentioned...so maybe the PJ's are just sitting back and waiting for the cracks to appear and the wall of silence to start breaking down in panic....that wouldn't surprise me at all!
However with regards as to why Gordon Brown has chosen to get involved is beyond me....it has nothing to do with him..and ive never seen that in any case before..so who knows why....but i still think at some point it will be revealed and the peices of this jigsaw will start to fall into place....the big question is WHEN?

stable link. " interior hours of Madeleine's disappearance the McCanns began making calls to their friends and kinfolk to tell them of the "abduction" the 1st factor that could take place tome may be to call the police not friends and kinfolk. You call friends and kinfolk once you are the placement some great information. Desperation might set off POLICE not fam & friends. while human beings re responsible of against the regulation they hotel to LIES ! Human nature ! That link and what you have reported in basic terms shows that the McCanns are hiding something this is important and little question this is why the PJ-GNR are actually not relenting. ------------------" " elsie191..." I agree totally with elsie191... they had no concept how enormous the sory may be. apart from, they, T9 and ok&G have been sloshed, under the impression of alcohol, while they planned the entire tale up. while sober day after at present, the lie had to proceed in any respect expenses otherwise their scientific careers might all come to an abrupt end. they have not something TO LOSE. i think of in Mexico they might call that "desperados"

Isnt it funny how Clarence denies these stories on 'behalf' of the Tapas 7 which begs the questions;

1) Since when did Clarence become a spokesman for the Tapas 7?

2) If you were scared of the McCanns and the machinery around them, would you really tell Clarence that you were about to spill the beans?

3) Why do you never see any of the Tapas 7 come out and say the story is rubbish, instead you get some vague, relayed message from Clarrie saying that the stories are rubbish.

I share your concerns while not being convinced that the Macs friends are ready to tell all.For me this is a turn around from believing they were, but now i can't help feeling they've been reassured and coached by Team MacCann, after all they have had a lot of time and the best legal advice to get things right.Believe me i hope I'm wrong on this, but as i suspect these friends, all of them, knew exactly what they were party to that night, and had the nerve to play along, I'm not so convinced of an urge to tell the truth or for that matter a fit of conscience.

There is something big being covered up by the British government and the Tapas friends could unlock this mystery now. They have been bullied and intimidated for 6 months now so I just wish they would look deep into their consciences , think of Maddy before any backlash to themselves, and tell us what really happened. If that implicates the McCanns, Gordon Brown,Clarence Mitchell and whoever else then so be it.If the Tapas 2 are hiding vital information surely it will eventually come out because they can't keep quiet for ever now it has been bandied around the papers.Poor Maddy is dead and they ALL know it.
EDIT... I think Penny might be going down the right track. What was Mitchell doing there ?

The truth will out. I wonder how many visitors they will get when they are all banged up. If I were them , I would beware of The Terrible Two trying to shift the blame.

All I can say. The whole Affair stinks of Fish & Corruption.
All the McCann friends, should be properly investigated,
interrogated to the highest level, together, separately, alone.
Until the truth comes out, charged by Portuguese Police as
Arguidos.

I also agree with Penny. If these two go down they will take a lot of people with them, just like a house of cards.

It seems to me to be like the Profumo scandal all over again.
