... Universal Truth" [be that, or NOT, as It may] ever be subject to human interpretation (psychological, philosophical, scientific, theological, poetic, spiritual, or otherwise)?

Just because We are willing [for our own meaningful, goofy, or "what-have-you" reasons] to play The Game, it does NOT mean that The Game [if there is one] will be influenced by our moves - or does it?

P.S. Please note - This is NOT a question about: Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, observer influenced experiments, the mechanics of the Omnipotent Holy, or alike. … This IS a question about: The potential immutability of the underlying Universal Truth (of the physical Universe).

Great logic.... but an absolute rider comes to my mind....... it can only be applicable for a relevant finite time frame. Since time is a function of change, at infinity of time, everything must change including the laws of nature as perceived by us or otherwise... universal truth is therefore valid only for a relevant finite time frame and not eternally!!

“Laws of nature”? Then do you mean a Universal Truth (of the physical Universe) as in “the law of the laws”, a singular unifying “God force”? I’m tempted to start inventing theoretical properties for “truthicon” particles, but I’ll try to behave… :-)

Really, I’m more inclined to believe that an ultimate Truth exists for the Universe than for Humanity. We are too subjective, too fettered by our own perceptions. Even so, Human Truth (of the intellectual Human) is not particularly transient. Pardon my digression, but I read an interesting argument once that “conscience” was the Human manifestation of absolute truth. That pain is not only the evolutionary cue to self-preservation, but also an indicator of “wrongness”. So any action that causes pain to self or other is universally “wrong”. In any case, the fundamental answers to “What is Truth?” and “Where is Truth found?” are traceable through recorded history. Most individuals aren’t snatching truths from the air; they’re choosing them from the list. The uniqueness of perspective is the way these truths are combined.

Furthermore, it’s self-contradictory to say “there are absolutely no absolutes”. There have to be some constants in order to prevent total chaos. That we can find *any* predictability in the Universe suggests that there is some form of underlying truth.

Anyway, it’s all guess work at this point. Either the Universe is too intricate for our understanding, or our faith in complexity blinds us to simplicity. Our “game playing” may be irrelevant, but the possibility of manipulating, or simply *comprehending* the rules is irresistible. (I want my anti-gravity belt, “plausibility” be damned!) “Unattainably” will never stop the attempts or the “poetical interpretations”. Actually, that is another human commonality: we want to believe.

Those theists who argue that are plain wrong. People don't have faith that when they flick a switch the lights will turn on, they have an expectation. There's nothing mystical about it, it's just electricity. You turn on the flow of power to the light bulb and it will light up. That is far different than believing in something that has no proof, that has no explaination, and that you can't see a display of it's presence by flicking a switch. It doesn't matter how hard you pray to a god, that light bulb will never light up without some form of tangible power. There's a difference between expecting a known and experienced result, and having faith in something with no proof.

Universal Truth should not be subject to human speculation of any kind. We play the game, whether for spiritual or intellectual exercise - it's the nature of being sentient. There is, however no real game, nor affecting interpretation, as regards to Truth.

Hmm. Universal truth. Oh, please, please spare me the esoteric rhetoric of answers!
IF there is universal truth, how could the little grey cells of humans, whatever their motivations, influence the "immutability" of an "underlying universal truth"?
Human interpretation is blowing in the wind....

Edit: BGrimey...Whatever "tools" humans use, they will never obtain universal truth. Manipulating physical "laws" have nothing to do with universal truths. As well as good & evil are NOT entities or energies, but in fact exist only in the human mind, defined by the disparity of human minds.

Now, THAT is a deep question! The best I can do is to quote the best answer I have ever found.

"...[E]xistence is a self-sufficient primary. It is not a product of a supernatural dimension, or of anything else. There is nothing antecedent to existence, nothing apart from it--and no alternative [such as a "parallel" universe] to it. Existence exists--and only existence exists. Its existence and nature are irreducible and unalterable."

"Existence exists" is the only universal truth or "secret" to the universe that I know of.

Truth does not change in light of our acceptance, disbelief, or understanding. We are children groping our way in the dark. It is quite possible we have it all wrong, it has happened many times before, & will happen again. Just because the majority believe a "fact" does that really make it true?

Are you a monkey or a dolphin? Seriously, what kind of question is this. Isn`t it obvious that humans will search for the truth through human faculties? The question is not whether or not we can influence the truth or the Game as you put it. The primary objective is to search for the truth through: Psychological, philosophical, scientific, poetic, spiritual, etc... means. These are the tools humans use to obtain truth. Once we obtain the truth then sometimes we are able to influence it by manipulating physical laws with technology. I.E. Humans cannot fly but we build airplanes that can. In any event we must first obtain the truth before we can ever manipulate it. We must figure out the laws of motion and gravity before we can build machines with enough G forces to sustain flight.

Your question somewhat reminds me of when people doubt that good and evil actually exists. The argument runs as follows. Good and evil only exist in the human mind therefore good and evil is not real. What? Last time I checked we are human beings with minds. Therefore relative to us good and evil exists indefinitely. The truth for us is the truth as it is relative to human beings and/or needs.

Monks, Mystics and Yogis do what they do to get "in tune" with natural law so that they don't have to worry about this natural law or that natural law... since they are after "spontaneous right action."

A real saint is like that... they don't have to think about the law, they simply live it automaticaly.

This online resource explains how to get "in tune" with natural law.

It's the TAO of Physics., You influence the reality by observing it. It's real touchy that way. Makes Her giggle.
