(1/3)t+(1/5)t= 1 . . . . factor t
t(1/3 + 1/5) = 1 . . . common denominator = 15
t (5+3)/15 = 1
8/15 t = 1
t = 15/8
please do not worship anybody, including your god

first we get rid of the fractions
and since it's an equation - we do the same thing to both sides
common is 3 x 5 - so we use 15
therefore
5t +3t = 15
8t = 15
t = 15/8ths
or 1 7/8
tada
worship God - i am nothing!~

(1/3)t = t/3
(1/5)t = t/5
Therefore:
t/3 + t/5 = 1
(5t+3t) / 15 = 1
8t = 15*1
8t = 15
t = 15/8
t = 1*7/8
Good luck.

(1/3)t + (1/5)t = 1
5/15t + 3/15t = 1
8/15t = 1
(8/15t) (15/8) = 1 (15/8)
t = 15/8 or 1 7/8

(1/3)t+(1/5)t= 1
It would be...
(t/3)+(t/5)=1
Get the least common denominator...
(5t/15)+(3t/15)=1
(8t/15)=1
Multiply both sides by 15 to get rid of the denominator
15(8t/15)=15(1)
8t=15
t=15/8
And thats the answer. 15/8

(1/3) t + (1/5) t = 1
((1/3) + (1/5)) t = 1
((5/15) + (3/15)) t = 1
(8/15) t = 1
t = 1 * 15/8
t = 15/8
