A. I would not be wearing my life's savings on my wrist.
B. Given the answer in A, I still can't answer without being in the situation to evaluate all the other circumstances. It depends upon what I'm being threatened with. A knife? I can run. A gun? I can disarm a man with a gun if he's close enough. If he's far enough, his aim may not be so good if I run. Still, for a few bucks, is it worth my life to take a chance? Hence, my response in A. Why set myself up in the first place? As Bill Cosby said:
"Here's a mugger, waiting in a dark alley. Why? Because he's nervous. He just wants the money, he doesn't want any trouble. Now here I come down the same dark alley. Why? Because I'm stupid."
Your question presupposes someone is stupid enough that he he'll probably die AND lose his watch. By the way, muggers rob people. Burglars sneak into houses to steal.

Give them the watch. Since I got the slightly less awesome model and I spent the remaining savings on an insurance policy from Lloyd's of London, who cover Rolex watches under their Jewelry, Watch and Fine Art policy (assuming you bought it legitimately, from a dealer).
I would wish them well, and hope they were able to buy lots of crack with the money.
After that, I would get another watch for free as a policy benefit, after filing a police report, keep my life and my pride, and drive home in my Bentley.

OK i probaly wont use my life savings to buy a watch.
If i were to buy a rolex, i would ahve to be petty rich so it owuld mean nothing to me.
And i dont like Rolex, i have TAGhuer or something watch,(IT ROCKS)
But anyways, i know a lil martial arts so i would disarm the robber and kick his ***. But 1 question, how does buglar steal ur watch when u are wearing it? they are suppose to break in and steal it?
PEACE AND LOVE FROM BALTIMORE!

Depends on if he's armed and how much you value your life I guess. Besides if you can afford a Rolex you can afford to hand it over and buy another... we're along time dead a you can't spend your money once your there.

Give up the watch while getting a really good look at the thief, call the police, and turn in the insurance claim.

If they've got no weapon, I'd scream to freak them out, kick or punch the groin or eyes, and haul ***.
If they have a weapon, I'd Jedi mind trick them. Who am I kidding, I hate Rolexes! I wouldn't end up in this situation.
