YES.

It's popularly known as "Rani Baug". The nearest railway station in Byculla on Central Railway main line. Hardly 5 minutes walk from the station.

It's a very very vast green area in the heart of Mumbai city. Though it's not exactly a great place so far as the animals are concerned, I will rate it as GOOD.

One more attraction is the Bhau Daji Lad Museum at the entrance of the zoo. It's one of the best. A must visit place.

I would recomend Sanjay Gandhi National Park in Borivli of Bombay. It's great & if u have time u can take lion safari and if u have inclination, u can visit Kanheri Caves therein. It is worth a visit particularly in winter when u can expect migratory birds also.
1 day trip for all above is ok
Regarding Rani Baug in Bombay, u may try but not worthy of recomendation.
DON'T MISS NATIONAL PARK.

the animals are sick-looking...............and u know what ? the last lion of the zoo died last month..................they dont take care of animals in the zoo..........but u can go there to see the greenery.........i would rate the zoo BAD
