We read with shock that on the night of 3rd May 'the McCanns did not call the police until they had discussed the possible implications for them of having left their three children alone in the holiday apartment'

This fact is just one of the 'facts' that one or more of the 'Tapas 7' want to change about their orginal statements.

Does it at last appear that we will know some truth about what happened to Madeleine as opposed to the pack of lies and spin we have been sold by Team McCann and their dodgy friends in the media ?

Sorry I'm late, but I just want to add my 2 cents to this.

So you've just got back from dinner, and found the oldest child missing, (not anywhere inside), and the window wide open....(even though the doors were unlocked too!)...wouldn't your knee-jerk reaction be to run outside and call for her first...do a search....see if she ran off to find her parents, etc.?
I would have thought that a parent would be flying around the premises like a chicken without a head...dry-mouthed, heart pounding and bloody screaming !!! (But not making 14 phone calls). But no, all Kate could muster up was a bleet from the balcony..."THEY've taken my chid!" Bleet, bleet, mehehehh!

Well, in this case, it was automatically assumed that "THEY had taken her".....WHO had taken her ??? Why jump to THAT conclusion so fast?

This shows me that the alarm was set-off in a truly LUDICROUS way....a scenario that was rehearsed and gone over until ALL parties involved agreed with the Abduction Scenario, before calling the police. Make it look 'AS IF'....etc. (Act 1, Part2)

So why all the discussion about what the police would THINK?.......Find Maddie, for godssake! No time to lose here!

And anyway, why didn't this voracious abductor steal the kids of the other friends, while he was at it. If they'd cased the joint for one kid they'd find a bounty of others with their doors left conveniently open....

I'd say the McClan spent alot of time 'discussing the possible implications' of alot of other things than baby-sitting, or lack thereof!

I don't know what to make of this story.
It sounds a bit cagey to me. It's full of "the unknown lawyer claims to be representing" and "the unidentified lawyer told Spain’s El Mundo newspaper".
It just gives the impression that the paper isn't sure of its sources or of the truth of the story and is hedging its bets.
And why would this lawyer go to a Spanish newspaper, and not a British or Portuguese one?

But then on the other hand Clarence Mitchell's statement "All of Kate and Gerry’s friends speak as one.." sounds equally dodgy...... as if they haven't got their own minds to speak individually.

Weird.

Well it will be interesting if anybody breaks ranks if their conscience gets the better of them. I hope so. The truth is out there and the only thing that is important is Madeleine.
So anything that will shine a light on this darkness would be very welcome.
I personally think if somebody has been lying and they now wish to tell the truth perhaps against a lot of pressure then I would think that was very brave.

Will the members of the Tapas 7 have the courage to tell the truth, that is the question. I hope that they have consciences if not the truth may never be revealed.

Not another question about the McCanns.......

After reading the article it says alledge....then it says that we are only talking about 5 mins before one of the friends went to the bar and reported it.

Can you imagine the scene...it must have been chaos, of course they would have talked about who is at fault...that would be the obvious fear that they should not have left their kids alone. But other members of the group did the same, only they got away with it, their children were safe.

Maddie was taken, the McCanns have to live with this, I suspect that the others do to.

When you say THE FACT IS....how do you know, you were not there and newspapers will say anything. All of these people involved must be in total shock because all of them made it easier for a crime to be committed. I think we should stop judging and holding Kangeroo courts and put our efforts into finding poor little Maddie.

It wouldn't surprise me. Everything about Madeleine's disappearance has been centred around Kate & Gerry and how not to ruin their professional reputations.

Typical of this lot. Think about themselves before thinking of poor Maddy. And there are still people who support them... one or two.
