The Disney vault what a ingenious scheme. I thinks is neat but I'm missing some DVD's to further my collection. Does anyone know when the following movies are going to be available again? Or, know of a site where I can monitor "The Vault". The DVD's that I can't find (I know Ebay but I want them new) are: 101 Dalmations (animated), 101 Dalmations (live action), Beauty and the Beast, Pinnochio, and finally Snow White. Thanks for any input. BTW what's up with "Song of the South" will they ever release it on DVD?

All of those have been released and there is no plan to re-release any time soon. Song of the South has been toyed with and they have hinted at a possible 2008 or 2009 release, but there are still a few civil rights groups protesting it.

I too have been waiting for re-releases for Pinnochio and Snow White. The re-releases have been a lot nicer than the original DVD releases.

As for Song of The South, I'm guessing that it will probably never see the light of day again, which is a shame because it was a really great film. I bought the Disney Treasures Silly Symphonies set...the set claimed to be uncensored...that was a lie. They completely removed the scene with the wolf as a Jewish peddler. I'd like to get on my soapbox about how we have become too sensitive as a society, how political correctness is destroying our classic films...some of them will probably never be seen again. I say bring them out, let them be seen...they are a part of our history...good or bad. To hide it is like saying it never existed. I'd think hiding it is more offensive than the films themselves. And....step off the soapbox.

I would say that Snow White should probably be soon. The last time was 2001, and they usually are on a 7-8 year cycle.
