With my luck it wouldn't be the African Flourescent Purple Dart frog either. Would it be hard to distinguish it from the others?

No - I usually bite them in half.
We have frogs frequently in the afternoon at our office. I usually have peppermint ones and my colleagues love plain ones.
(Freddo Frogs, that is. Hahaha)
