How have they impacted your life? Have they inspired you in any way, whether on court or off court?
So far, I know that Michael Chang, Pat Rafter and Margaret Court are Christians. I myself was inspired by Michael Chang when he won the French Open. I took up tennis in school after that. Later on, I found out he's a Christian. I admire his commitment to Christ, and how he would play tennis for His glory, whether win or lose.

I would think Michael Chang has the rich quality christian life on and off the court. Got to read His book Holding Serve and found that Michael Chang is just like you and me went through difficult/hard times in the beginning of his life before who he is and what he is today in Christ Jesus. You have the money and not the money have you. That's why Michael Chang plays tennis for His glory, whether win or lose. Have I answered your question :-D.

I'm actually having my sister do this... I'm reading her the requirements and she's giving the answers. :) Doctor -- Robert James -- The only comment she gave is that she thought "Robert Dye" sounded really good. This might have something to do with our old doctor being named Doctor Dye.... NFL player -- DeMark Jay -- I told her that it had to be an NFL player, and she said "Oh, well that means it has to start with Duh and then have a normal name... like Duh Mark". She seems to think his last name has to be Johnson...? Now she says "DeMarkus would sound better than DeMark... Oh well, he's a football player, he could always change his name". Professional Snowboarder -- Jesse Monroe -- She says that it has to be Jesse because he's DeAnna's husband from the Bachelorette...apprently he's a snowboarder. Actor -- Drew Carlos -- She says that his last name is Montgomery. She says that she just thought that Drew was an actor name, and that she wouldn't name a future actor something like Johnny. Then she said (about Johnny) "My goodness what a terrible name". Bum -- First, she says "I guess I'm naming my cheese...." Haha... but his name is Jack. She says he's a bum and he's not worthy of a middle name. She says that Jack is the bummiest name that she's ever heard. Singer -- Jamie Natalie -- She said that Jamie was the first name that came to mind, and that it's definitely not after an famous Spears girls. Artist -- Amy Geraldine -- She said Amy from Little Women was an artist... but Amy is also my name...haha. Professional Tennis Player -- Lena Wren -- I promise you that she didn't see your own answer. She's across the room...and I told her that you also used this one, but she didn't really care and wanted to keep it. She likes Wren spelled without the "W" (Ren), but I told her that I was spelling it with the W...and she didn't really fight it. So it stayed that way. ;) Stripper -- Audrey Rockelle -- She almost named her Jade... but now she says that Audrey is much more of a stripper name. And so is Rockelle. I'm thinking this is after the sisters we know named Audrey and Rockelle...they're not really strippers, but they are pretty....potential...to be. She says "I hope they don't happen to get on here and read this. But if they do, maybe they'll just laugh". These aren't really names that she likes...but names that remind her of someone with that occupation I guess. Well, I had fun answering this, it was great. :) -- Amy (and my sister...Rachel)

What? How does someone being a christian make them anymore inspiring than someone who's not? How does tennis and christianity have any correlation? Is it that extraordinary that someone could be a christian and a tennis player at the same time?

i think sharapova is a christian because i always see her wearing a crucifix or a cross as a necklace. I don't if it's for fashion or religion. But I do get inspired by players who are Christians.

How about Nadal? He is from Spain right? Spain is the one who brought Christianity in my country. Maybe he is? I'm not sure...but I love Fernando Gonzales from Chile.
Everytime I see a player who is doing a sign of the cross I instantly becomes his/her fan and I am totally inspired by him/her.
