There is depth and vastness to the canyon and the mans versitility as an actor is the same.

Diane,
I would imagine that it was a great compliment. The Grand Canyon is so beautiful that it would take one's full attention away from anyone/anything else. This would be what some would feel about Jack Nicholson. I believe he is a great actor but she is so very beautiful that he could not hold a candle next to her, in my opinion. Have a wonderful week.
Thanks,
Eds

I think she is saying he is awesome to work with, just like the Grand Canyon is to view.

An American icon, deep, breath-taking, awe-inspiring, a tourist attraction, something you cannot take your eyes off of [pardon the poor grammar], and for once in your life, you'd be willing to ride a mule to get to the bottom of it all. Edges, width, crevasses, twists, and always surprising. STUNNING!
