The institution hasn't failed, it's the people in it that fail. Some are actually mature and strong enough to succeed.

Marriage is not a failed institution. Certain people made like that. It's all depends on particular person.
Separately marriage is a wonderful relationship among two hearts. It is very common that your parents, friends, brothers, sisters etc loves you very much.
Only wife without having any relationship before marriage shows all of her love on you. She considers you as her life partner and her better half.
Please don't miss that chance to enjoy the life with wife and children. Now you are young. Hence there will not be any problem to lead life without a companion. But in elder age you must have one relation to take care on you. That should be your wife or children. If you suddenly fall in ill or had any disease then who will care you. How many days your parents live with you.
How many days your brothers and sisters or friends may stay with you. They also have their own family to look after. They cannot neglect their family and look after you.
Having sex with other ladies and adopting a child is not fulfil all the requirements of family. You should have one family to look after you.
Think and take a decision.

Marriage isn't failed. There are many, many people in good marriages. If you are going to have sex, you need to be married. My suggestion is to date a long, long time. Get to know the person really well. Ask a lot of questions. Find out their values, interests and plans for the future. Tell them yours. Observe them in social settings, see how they treat other people. Ask their family and friends about them. See how they live, are they neat or messy? Do they drink or do drugs? What are their political views? What are their spiritual values? Do they want children? Find out as much as you can before you commit to them in marriage. Marriage is a life long commitment. You don't want to marry first and then find out you don't get along.
That is the down fall of a lot of marriages today, jumping into marriage, with out getting to know who you are marrying first.
When you first meet someone, you are only meeting their Representative. It takes time for the real person to show up. Date at least 2 years, before you pop the question.

Marriage is what the couple makes of it. It can either fail or succeed and flourish with success. However, there are couples out there who NEVER get married yet stay together forever and are completely happy with that.

I think Polygamy or something like it is not a totally bad idea. Not into the whole Utah type lifestyle but I think that having 1 husband, a couple of wives isnt that crazy. 1 wife, a couple of husbands, better.

Sorry you feel that way, sounds like you have just plain given up, and maybe its good that you have since you feel the way you do. Just remember you reap what you sow. Best suggestion? Stay single and keep your horn reeled in. Otherwise you'll end up back in an institution, of one kind or another.

If one talks of Marriage, Live-in or jus a f mate or friend the Woman can scream rape, harassment and violence and extort everything you own and destroy your life!!!
