I am getting really upset with the shows writers.
We waited through all the build up of season 1. It was pretty good. Now, instead of giving us more action in season 2, they are dragging us along with tedious s**t again.
Hopefully, the shows writers will use the time off while on strike to make some revisions to season 2.

I have not given up on Heroes yet, but I'm getting close.

Your thoughts on the show and whether it will survive to season 3?

I think it's picked up the last few episodes and started getting back on track. And there's no real chance of cancellation at this point, what with the strike and all. I think it'll come back better in the fall.

And Tim Kring, the producer, has acknowledged the problems with season 2 and apologized for them, and he says they're working on fixing things. This is a good sign.

I will start by saying, compared to most things on TV it is so much better than anything else you can find. Ok, but to compare season 1 to season 2, I have to agree that I have been very disappointed with what they have done with the second season so far. They had assured us that it would be totally different from season 1, and yet I feel that we keep going back to where we started. And the new people coming in have yet to prove themselves and what their powers are. Not giving up on the show, it took me awhile to really understand last season, so I'll give this season the same chance.

I actually liked last night's episode because it let me know how everything that happened in the first few episodes of Season 2 happened. I couldn't believe it when I found out that the Haitian put Peter in the box and took his memory; I thought the memory loss was from the explosion. And that Adam/Kensei healed Nathan with his blood - that explains the visions Nathan sees of himself; also I now understand why Nathan told his mother she was evil; my impression last night was that she convinced his wife to leave him. I got a lot of answers last night, that have convinced me that I'll be watching - at least until the stupid strike causes it to go on hiatus or into reruns.

To some extent, they are suffering from what the late science fiction writer Robert Heinlein described as the "Son of Galactic Overlord" syndrome (or what Buffy the Vampire Slayer jokingly referred to as the "another week, another apocalypse" problem.

The essence of this problem is that in your first season you build up to the big disaster that must be averted/big villian to be defeated. Having done that, you somehow have to come up with a bigger problem and a bigger villian to stop. It takes time to set up the next disaster and have it be believable (within the context of the universe).

I really l ike it
yes it is a lot like Lost and there are a lot of unanswered questions, but if we get all the answers now then the show would be over.

I just couldn't get into the show and stopped watching it. It just didn't make much sense.
