Well I think that was horrible of you. How does destroying a child's fantasy make you "even" with your sister? You were being obnoxious and she called you on it. Rather than accepting that you were doing something wrong and owning up to your behavior, you went to a baby to tell him Santa isn't real? And NO 5 yr olds don't already know that!!! They sent home letters from "Santa" in my children's kindergarten classes and the kids write letters to Santa in 1st and 2nd grades. You were being a brat and I think you should apologize to your nephew. Take some responsibility for your actions for once. Tell him that you said something mean because you were angry and that you shouldn't have said Santa isn't real. Let his parents decide whether to continue that tradition with him or not. By the way, who did you think was going to pay for your fake delivery orders? The resturaunt owners? The delivery drivers? The people who were not expecting to shell out for something they didn't order? Your "fun" prank cost people hard earned money and your sister was completely right in telling your dad so he could stop you. ETA: I don't care what your sister called you, your fight was with her, not her child. What you did was WRONG, period. You had no right to take your anger out on an innocent child and no information you add will make what you did accaptable.

Of course he is real.
Every December 24th I watch the National Weather Center give ongoing reports on the location of Santa Claus.
So the U.S. government does recognize Santa!

Santa isn't real. Santa is something kids believe in but Santa doesn't live in the North Pole and he has no elves and no reindeer. He is made up and he doesn't exist.

AND DON'T YOU LET ANYONE TELL YOU DIFFERENT! Did you see the movie" Miracle on 42ed Street?" That may shed some light on your government question. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
