i just need her to get out of the house, by giving reasons for getting washed and dressed and going out. advice?

How old is your friend? What is the root cause of her depression? You say that you "need her to get out"... but ask yourself this: What does She need?
Instead of trying to get her out, perhaps you should start by getting her to allow you into her room. Be a true friend to her and ask her why she is so deeply depressed. Then ask her if there is anything you might do to help her to get out of her depression. In order to identify a solution, the root of the problem must first be known. However, if your friend is not willing to discuss this with you, do not be forceful as this might only upset her even more. If she would rather not talk about it, then ask her to go out with you... she might get cleaned up for that... take her to a place you know makes her happy. Try to have her focus more away from what is making her depressed, but understand that this will not make the depression disappear... but it may help to put her in a better frame of mind to discuss things. Depending upon the cause of her depression it may take her some time to heal.

tell her YOU need to talk and YOU need to go elsewhere.... change of scenery will make YOU feel better. Someone thats depressed may flourish the idea of helping someone else to take their mind off their own troubles!

Go into her room, tell her to shower and that she is depressing you, tell her that you guys need a girly day and take her to get her nails or feet done and talk it out.
