Plant life since the 3rd day, bird and fish life since the 5th day and land life since the 6th day.
All about 6000 years ago.

Those that think life arose millions of years ago should consider that their answer is (also) a philosphical one.
Noone was around - except God, and he has given us an eye-witness account. Since when did it become scientific to discount such evidence?

The idea that the universe and life has been around for millions of years is based on philopshical (religious) assumptions.
Don't be fooled into thinking that evolution and millions of years is a proven fact. It is *one* interpretation of the observed evidence - and not a very good one if you take a good look.
In my opinion - having looked at a good deal of evidence - the creation interpretation is a much better scientific explanation.
As well as being the account of the Creator himself.

For example, look here to see that most dating methods indicate the earth is young - contrary to popular evolutionary belief.
