CHICAGO (AFP) - US researchers have developed a method of producing hydrogen gas from biodegradable organic material, potentially providing an abundant source of this clean-burning fuel, according to a study released Monday.

See, we don't need to put so much emphasis on supporting our oil interests in the Middle East. We need to move away from burning fossil fuels so rampantly anyway.

Unless something major changes, like the entire human race will die unless we stop using oil, I don't think any other fuel alternatives will ever get started. We have tons of other ways to produce clean fuel but as always, money and power comes into play. Key word in your question is "cheap".

Would this be for heating and cooling homes or for Autos. Would the instillation to your Auto and or home be expensive? If not i am all for it.

If it would be expensive up front most people could not pay the initial instillation.
