You will get a big black mark on your eBay record. They might have legal recourse but it's doubtful it would get to that. That is not a good idea to do.

previous saying, "while all else fails, study the classes". once you are the intense bidder on the top of the time-honored public sale, you're obligated to pay for the object. Now, you could in basic terms no longer pay and land up with a adverse feed decrease back related to you account. once you submitted your bid, others, which you out bid, have been denied the possibility to purchase the object and the enterprise is now out the money he could have made on the sale. a while in the past I bid on a Bowie Knife, as quickly as I checked decrease back i did no longer discover my bid listed, so I entered the bid back. Then i got here upon that I had appeared at an same knife, I had fairly bid on 2 Bowie Knives, from distinctive sellers. I gained the two auctions. fortuitously, the quantity of funds become no longer super and that i in basic terms offered the two knives. i could rather do this then cheat somebody, even by making use of twist of destiny. i don't be attentive to how plenty you bid on the sling shot, inspite of the undeniable fact that it must be on your ideal, long term, pastime to easily pay for it in case you win it.

I just looked at it and the bidding history. It looks like it doesn't run out till a week from now so probably someone will out bid you by then, considering the there was several bids before yours that were close to that amount.

If you can't afford to pay for it, retract your bid. That auction has 6 days to go, so you're within the 12 hour limit. But since it has 6 days to go, I'm sure you'll be outbid.

Just don't do it again unless you want to be on the hook for that amount.

You are a moron. You just got yourself into a binding contract in which you are fradulently placing a bid on something you don't have money for. You better hope that you are out bid.
Why would you bid on something that you have no intention on buying?? Is it just because you can say "hey dude, look i just spent $7,000 on a Brittany Spears CD....loser.

I once accidental bid something like $3,000 instead of $30. I was able to change it by searching around their site for the instructions,

If you did something like that, get busy and change it now. Good luck.

You can get sued. Go retract your bid. RIGHT NOW. Sign in, go to help, and type in the search box retract bid, it will guide you. Its a binding contract, and thats worth someones time and effort to take you to court, and trust me, they will win.

They will send some nicely dressed italian men to cut off your big toe.............Just kidding. Usually all that happens is you get a bad rating. This could make it difficult for you to make a purchase on ebay in the future.

Seriously tho, you can cancel your bid. No problem.
