Whether he said it or not; HIS ACTIONS CERTAINLY INDICATE THAT HE THINKS IT. He is destroying America for his own ends...anyone who thinks otherwise is too afraid of facing the truth.
Remember that they are striving for a new world order, and various bankers such as the Warburg's have stated previously that they will have it either by conquest or consent...think about what is going on.
Laws are being passed are beginning to really pi55 people off. The govt are doing things that nobody likes at all...this comment being just one of many that a US president should not make.
They are pushing people into rebellion and anarchy by squeezing every last drop out of us all and then they have an excuse to flatten us and finally implement their ridiculous plans.
Look at a speech from the honourable Henry Kling-On Kissinger;
Today Americans would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful. This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government."
-- Henry Kissinger speaking at Evian, France, May 21, 1992 Bilderburgers meeting. Unbeknownst to Kissinger, his speech was taped by a Swiss delegate to the meeting.
Still think it all happens by accident???
Wake up and THINK about why things happen and what their knock-on effect will be...because these ba5tards do...we are being played with.

A few points need to be mentioned:
1) Echelon and Watchdog during the previous administration were programs that were pervasive, and applied to all citizens.
2) The Patriot Act was passed by Congress, not by the President. It merely allows for real time surveillance of suspected terrorists and supporters without having to wait several days for a warrant, and actions of the government are subject to accountability afterwards.
3) Previously, un-uniformed combatants were never protected by the Geneva Convention nor by US Civil law.
4) Regarding loss of rights, during this administration, the only loss of rights suffered by US Citizens has been property rights: and that was by an edict of the liberal Judicial branch that transfered personal property rights over to the State and local governments. Bush had nothing to do with this.
5) Members of the Executive Branch, for all the evil the Left has made them out to be, never stole and destroyed important records from the National Archives.
Now, back to the question: he stole less money from me than the Leftists will when they get fully in power. Bush, unlike his predecessor, has proven to have more respect for the office of the President and more regard for my ability to keep a few more dollars of what I earn. And, being self-employed lower class, every $12 helps...
As for the Constitution, it's not a suicide pact nor armor for totalitarianists.

Boomer... Have you ever READ the Patriot Act? I have. All the Patriot Act does concerning surveillance is add Terrorism to the list of things that can be monitored via wiretapping. It also takes many of our rights and turns them on their heads.
The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) was created in 1978, not in the current administration, as was the FISA court which oversees the wiretapping. It was just not used much until the Bush administration, at least as far as anyone knows.
Concerning the actual question...
I do believe that, though there is probably no public proof of him saying that, Bush's actions have shown that he believes it.

Could be something put out by the "evil ones". never heard it and probably will not as he is a Christian. It's probably in reference to the democrats being upset as they did not raise heck about the Iraq deal. Only one stood up and voiced his opposition and that was Sen. Byrd of W. Va. Funny how some refer to him as an old wore out man. He is the only one and if the others had done that things might be different of not, but they now knowit would have been popular and it really aggravates them. Although some did, then didn't then didn't then did, I'm confusion. Take care. Oh yea took an old ex KKKK guy to say it.

Isn't it funny how Kanye West became the new darling of the media after that? Right up there with Cindy Sheehan. Just like all the other Hollywood flunkies who thinks they can jump start their failing careers by slandering our president.

It allegedly happened at a White House cabinet meeting, so if it did happen then there should be a record of it unless the White house has illegally destroyed evidence of it just like Nixon did with his Watergate tapes.

Yes, he did. From what I understand there were TWO aids that heard him say it, no, I don't have any other proof than that. Look at all the flipping off he has done for the camera along with all of his outlandish comments that he has made in the past and tell me you can't see Bush saying it...They have a 365 day calender, for god's sake with all of the rude, stupid comments Bush has uttered in the past 7 years!

Capitol Hill Blue - a notoriously liberal spin paper - originally run this story and of course, Olberman and a few others ran with it.
The article doesn't credit anyone with actually having heard and reported this.
It only says it was said.

I saw a video clip of him saying that on TV. He did actually say that. Then again, W is not known to be very smart or wise.
Here's an article on what he said:
http://www.capitolhillblue.com/artman/publish/article_7779.shtml
and here: http://www.comlinks.com/polintel/pi051214.htm
and here: http://www.counterpunch.org/leupp12142005.html
It was reported on "Capitol Hill Blue".

Why are you so surprised.? This President has said so many dumb things, it's hard to keep track of all of them. I think he was born with his foot in his mouth, which prevented oxygen from getting to his brain. Seriously, Bush is not gifted, when it comes to speaking, and I have a calendar with 365 funny Bushism's...one for each page!
