As the number of people who believe the McCann's killed their daughter approaches 70% surley we must have sympathy for those who have to work with the arrogant, smug, lying scamming, tosser that is Gerry McCann?

Those that work around him must be aware of his nasty short temper.

Anybody out there who has to work with this swinging child killer?

Faith, I agree of course that their is no absolute proof.

I really dont think Gerry is a heart surgeon.
I will try to find out but I think its another one of those McCann spin things.

I believe hes a Cardiologist which is not nessesarily a surgeon.

In any case Faith what on earth has that got to do with it? Being a surgeon would automatically make him innocent?

We all have our jobs to do.
I would certainly not want even my dogs treated by this lying scumbag.

Jack H..Thanks very much for that link.

Faith, Candi and Yahoo..maybe you'd care to take a look at how the people who have to work alongside this tatty excuse for a father think about it.

BTW Yahoo you may be blinded by the fact that this guy is a middle ranking non descript underachieving doctor, but I am a Consultant engineer so he doesnt really wow me. Shelf stacker are you?

As he is a doctor I'd be more concerned for his patients!

I've done a bit of research and found Dr Gerry McCann's professional details well documented in the attached link. He is a consultant cardiologist, not a surgeon, and specialises in radiology i.e. interpretation of X-ray and MRI images. I wonder if there are many takers for his private practice now that he has returned to NHS duties?

You shed more light on your own character than on Gerry McCann's by posting a question like this.

I do not feel sorry for Gerry McCann's colleagues as I know of no reason that they require my sympathy.

Presuming him to be innocent (as I must as long as his guilty remains unproven) I feel sorry for Gerry McCann whose 4 year old daughter has been missing for over 6 months now.

Time will tell if my sympathy is misplaced. Since he has been neither charged nor convicted of any crime in connection with Madeleine's disappearance, your vicious and callous condemnation of him is wrong and will remain wrong even if he turns out to be guilty.

Edit: in the absence of a credible and reliable source for your "70%" statistic, I'll assume it's made up.

In British medicine, a surgeon would use the title Mr instead of Dr. I believe to be a surgeon, you would then have membership of the RSC (Royal Colledge of Surgeons).

I would think he is a consultant, just like Harry Harper in casualty. I know where you are coming from though regarding the people who have to work with him.

I think this guy had set his sights on higher things, but now his dreams and aspirations will soon come crashing around him. Maybe he can be a trustee in his portuguese prison- medical intern or something like that. Does anybody know how, or why he got himself onto the Comare panel of medical experts? Did he think that this was where his fortunes lay?

Thanks for the link Jack H.
I was actually surprised he is allowed to work, as he is a "suspect" still.
Usually people are suspended on full pay. Obviously the legalities must have been gone into by this particular Health Authority.
However, the strength of feeling by some of his work colleagues must be sorely tested.

No I don't .

I feel sorry for the idiots who accuse an innocent man of being guilty without a shred of evidence or proof.

I prefer to keep my opinions to myself. All this speculation is no good to anyone & I really don't think you should come out with allegations like that until there is actual proof or they have been formally charged with something.
