What if we all made our own decorations out of Trix?
That colorful, circular, breakfast cereal that rabbits find so irresistible.
And string it on dental floss.
At the end of the holidays we could mail them to the hungry children of the world.
Not only would they be fed, but also have improved dental hygiene.
An ideal solution don't you think?

Hungry children do not eat Christmas decorations, what are they teaching in school these days??? :P
Well ok maybe if they are really hungry they would.
It is a nice idea to give more to charities but hopefully you don't need the excuse of Christmas to do so, most charities need a constant source of income so they can have long standing programs that will make a real difference rather than buy a couple of meals for the hungry only at Xmas...

We have a plastic tree, and reuse all the same ornaments, and make the new ones we need. I guess I could donate that $10 I was going to spend on buying a new set of Christmas lights, though.

If all of your ideas were put into action, we would live in a better world, a weird world, but a better one.
