Not at all - It would prove that Americans are helpless to enact positive change after all the entitlement and obscene consumption we've been doing for so long.
Most don't vote, or are even registered. Just like DC wants it.

Absolutely not. If Hillary wins the presidency it will be because people are so fed up with Bush Jr's policies and hope Hillary will roll things back to how it was before all that...not that the before time was all that great, but at least it wasn't ~this~ bad!! (Lesser of two evils?)
edit -- answerer after me carried on my line of thought wonderfully and I have to say I agree -- GW Bush is in many ways a continuation of Bill Clinton, but I don't think voters generally tend to think that far into it. Not entirely their fault though being as nothing anywhere with regards to US politics is ever what it seems. It takes a lot to delve into the issues and sort out what's going on and figure out how to vote in a way that truly expresses the ideas that the voter is trying to express...But on the other hand - considering one's ideas objectively in comparison and contrast to other ideas that are out there is an activity that involves a lot....(yes I digress - I hope you, dear reader, will digress as well)
ps the question is if Hillary winning the presidency would prove americans enjoy things as they are in DC. You didn't ask if americans who vote in the election would actually understand that Hillary would likely continue status quo. Only actually I think she's got a better handle on diplomacy than the current administration so in that respect, she might be an improvement.....

I don't think so. It would represent a change in parties, which usually means a change of direction in the executive branch. There isn't much backing for a completely radical change in government -- far less than you'd think, actually -- and a Hillary victory might be taken as a wish to return to the days of her husband's Presidency.

When Bush was running for President, political commentators often state that Bush 's beliefs and behavior is closer to Bill Clinton than his father. Bush unfortunately continued Bill's economic policies, which is a lot dumber than initiating them.

That is correct, it would NOT prove that Americans enjoy things just the way they are in DC.
All it would prove is that the International Corporate Fascists had managed to ateal yet one more Presidential election.
