I smoke and have dated people that smoke, I am now married to a non smoker who is has been instrumental in my effort to quit, I used to smoke a pack or more a day and now I dont smoke ciggs anymore, I smoke ciggars, and only 2 of those a day and soon to quit, You can really look down too much on people that smoke unless they picked up the habbit after knowing better like say 18plus, I was ropped in when I was 14 or 15. I think that if marijuhanna is illegal tobacco should be too. serioulsy what other product does the us goverment allow to be sold that is prooven to kill people its the big tobacco lobbiest that keep this industry alive its a shame

I don't, and will not, EVER smoke. I'm 15, and everyone in my family smokes. And quite frankly, I've got a strong distaste for the smell of smoke and alcohol.
My mom smokes alot, my aunt smokes alot, my dad smokes alot, and my sister and her boyfriend smoke alot. We all live in the same house, and they all smoke inside(my dad smokes in the garage, so his smoking doesn't affect me much). I honestly think smoking is disgusting.
Sure, I could date someone who does. Just as long as they could respect my tastes and do it outside, or in a room with a closed door and an open window. I can't stand it. Can't believe I have to live here for three or more years...

I do not smoke. I wont say those who smoke are bad. Everyone has a reason for starting to smoke: influence, curiosity, for experience, for fun and so on. But i would prefer if they just stop smoking coz it helps in no way. The $$$ spent on smoking can be used for other useful purposes. Your breathe start to stink, your teeth change colour, your fingernails tend to look old. I do not mind dating a smoker but fortunately my fiance is a not-smoker.

How come your question got in to the category of lesbian, gay, bisexual etc or you think smoking is the hall mark of such people? It's a personal choice as smokers are all kinds of people like any other people.Next, you may pick on people who love Gum or keep straight hair.Let's not stretch things too far.

I don't smoke. I think people have a right to smoke if they want to, but some smokers need to be a little more respectful of people who don't. Note I said some smokers.

I don't smoke.
I think it's a bad habit that causes an array of health problems like cancer. And I have asthma and my mom's smoking around me has given me numorous health problems. I don't think people should smoke in public as a common courtesy.
Yes, I'd date someone who does but they wouldn't smoke around me. Being the dominating and controlling person that I am, I'd probably try to break them of that habit.

My roommate keeps smoking in the apartment and I think he should stop. That's what I think of people who smoke!

I don't smoke, but I think that smoking is fine, and I would date someone who smokes, as long as they don't smoke too heavily.
