you took a human from birth and put them in a purely white cubic room with a place for going to the bathroom, and a small hole that food was sent through, and the person was just kept in this room for 40 years, what would they be like? and what would happen if they went outside?

If a person with such a stunted worldview went outside after 40 years of living in a bubble, they run the risk of getting elected president.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Let me make clear some points for you first of all ,sorry to say, there is nothing in between your ears and secondly
that you won't be able to bear the cry of child as far that a child doesn't know it's bad and good so you will have to clean it's **** and the when it becomes young it will be much harder to control him because All mighty god has given humans the power to think and judge and when a human becomes young 18+ from no where some questions will rise into his mind and to get those answers he will come out and smash you into ...... if you had feed him enough so you won't be able to stop his muscles tearing into peaces .
there is even less than 1% chances of doing such thing to some one
YEAH AND I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THERE IS ALSO 100% POSSIBILITY OF THINKING ABOUT SUCH THING FOR SOME IDIOT AND LAZY KIND OF PEOPLE

Tis a similar question, I asked some of my friends... Due to the fact that all people are essentially different in ways, that would be a factor in this all. The humanbeing, as known by the ability to examine the experiment, he or she would be sheltered, the being would probably sleep alot. The major events in the persons life would be to eat and poop. The being may even play with the food or pooh and paint the walls out of curiousity. The being would know no language, but may learn to scream and grunt. There are way to many factors that can come into to play to assume to know them all for sure but I hope these help.

Much before the expiry of 40 years, the person would find way out of that locked room one way or another... perhaps the bathroom or the hole for supplying food would be exploited for the purpose. Escape would certainly come before the wreck of mind can happen........ otherwise the person would become insane.

The person would essentially be a really smart animal and would behave as such. It would be unable to talk and there unable to communicate any feeling or emotions. But, chances are it would become extremely depressed, therefor it would most likely actually have a very faint reaction if it was allowed outside. At least, initially.
Why would you think of this though? really, it's pretty awful....

They would most likely choose to be a hermit on the outside not wanting to connect with other people after all that time.

At best, they would get a job with limited human contact and live in a tiny apartment alone for always. It's all they know.

Most likely they'd be unable to cope and be childlike in their behavior. If they had no contact with other people, there would be no social development, which is an enormous part of our environment. In addition, I think they'd be overwhelmed with the millions of everyday things they'd see and probably not make it very far. 40 years is plenty long enough to hard wire all of your lack of experience.

lets assumes it's stays there for 40 years , then , it's will be a pretty cute white animal kind of human-being without much of a knowledge in the brain.

I think that if someone were to stay in a room for 40 years and then go oustide of it, then they would probably try to adapt to their environment and would most likely fail in doing so.

They would be mute, un socilized and most likely animale listck. They would not beable to function in society and would most likely fear it.

There are important soicelogical things that need to be learned at a young age for people to function in the world and with other people and things.
