i what to sart to macke some furntiuer but dont know how to join wood to iron or iron to wood

For furniture applications, its usually done with screws or bolts. Wheels, weapons, barrels, etc... they'd heat the iron and let it cool after setting it to the wood. (the metal would contract as it cooled)

I'd recommend that you check into some blacksmithing techniques.

provide screw holes in the wrought iron and use wood screw to join iron to wood. Wood screw is different from the other screw(forgot the name) because wood screw is pointed.

you can put a piece of metal sheet in the other side of iron and the wood in the middle and put screws with nuts.
