Surprise, Craig is right. Christy did have 3 shutouts in 1905, but Phillippe was 3-2 for the Pirates in the initial fall classic with 5 complete games. Incidentally, the Giants team ERA in the'05 series was 0.00 as the one game they lost, no earned runs were scored against them.
