so one last time we're changing on our minds on the boys name. we know if we have a boy, his name will definately be Steel, but we're still not sure of a middle name. we like really weird names but since its only a middle name it doesn't really matter. no one really has to know his middle name. so here are the ideas we have so far:
Steel Gein
Steel god
i heard that Grace Slick made a joke about naming her daughter god and i thought that was hilarious. i don't mean to offend any religious people but this is my sense of humor and like i said before, no one really has to know his middle name.
anyways, i'm open to any suggestions anyone may have.
thanks

by the way, i don't mean any disrespect at all. while i think its funny, if i have a son, this will be his name forever, and thats not a joke to me.

I like Steel God, lol. I like old fashioned names, and used to be very fond of the name "Godfrey." I always thought it'd be funny to use "God" as a nickname. "I gotta pick God up from soccer!"

Just because no one "has" to know doesn't mean people won't know. You really don't want your son to be made fun of because you thought it was funny to name his Steel God. Steel is a cute boy name, but why not pick something that would be ok if people heard it. There are places that you are called by your full name. I know right now in school my daughter is writing her full name (including the middle name) and it would be sad if your son got laughed it if he had to do that.
What about Steel Gage, Steel Gavin, Steel Tate, Steel Wyatt, Steel Dean or Steel Alton? It all depends on what your last name is.

I don't really like Steel, so I suggest doing the smart thing & giving him a middle name that he can fall back on. The middle name doesn't have to be really popular either.
Steel Evan
Steel Cooper
Steel Brenton
Steel Keaton

For my second daughter I "allowed" my husband to pick her first name. He had NO input one our first daughter, other than her last name .lol... He picked...Boyanna, which is a fancied-up version of his name Boyan. I was not having it. But I did agree that since we didnt have sons, (and his name is famous in his country. It has been passed down for generations) and I wasn't having any more children, I wouldn't let the name completely die. I settled for B'yanna as a middle name. So what Im saying is depending on your children's father, grandfather. ect, create a middle name with some history. My middle name is Elin. My grandmother on my mom's side is E-L-eanor, and grandmother on dad's side is Linda (i-n), hench Elin!

Steel Dove Childress. I like the thought of such a manly first name with a softer middle name. Mmmmm, now I want some truffles!
