That is rich!
The government continuously gifts it all to the banks and lenders.
We are screwed, and Congress is too stupid to realize what they have done, nor how to fix it. After all, their law, passed along side the 2005 Bankruptcy Reform Act, is currently sucking $11 BILLION dollars a month out of Americans pockets and sending it straight to the banks.
And they wonder why we aren't spending money anymore.

No, we don't need more laws and more government. We need people to educate themselves before making financial decisions but generally they take the easiest way out, which is usually the worst move for the long run. People need to take responsibility of their own failures, The government can not be a babysitter for fools.

How about this novel idea? Keep your check book balanced and don't over spend on you debit card. If you are too stupid to do that, you deserve the overdraft charges.
Why can't people take responsibility for their lives, instead of wanting more government to take care of them.

No, there is already more government than we need. Less government is what is needed, people should'nt be so willing to trade freedom for so called government security/protection. Banks should be treated like any other business, if your bank is doing you wrong quit doing business with them.
