I'm Happy as hell i had tears in my eyes when i heard this news i love the guy so much if he would of left i would been devastated this is some awesome news for the Yankee fans

Stoked. We needed that signing. Posada leaving the Yankees would have hurt more than Rodriguez. Where can you find another catcher who hits like Jorge? Who throws runners out like Jorge? Who's a field general like Jorge? Yankee fans should be real happy with this news.

Relieved that no one else can experience Jorge Posada. Quilty that no other team will have that experience. I feel so
weak and fruitless saying that Posada belongs a Yankee and should stay a yankee until he retires. However in past years, his devotion and play have meant more to the yankees than just words can describe. I can only offer my love for the game and my love for Jorge Posada.

He's the best catcher on the market this year, and they're fortunate to have resigned him when another team (Mets) would have gladly given him more money to man the position. Do I think he'll be productive during the second half of his contract? I'd guess average numbers. But he should be an all star type catcher for at least a couple more seasons.

Yankee Management needed to get this done. They already have bad P.R over the whole Torre situation. Now they need to re-sign Rivera & it will be complete.
