I love the game of baseball, and I've been playing it since I was five years old. I'm entering my senior year this year, and Ive been a two year varsity starter in the outfield. It was only after this year my junior year, that Ive started to really find a true love for the game of baseball. I hope to someday make it to the mlb, although i know the odds.
I have always been good in my eyes, but I'm entering my senior year and have not even been sniffed by any scouts. Last year I batted in the 300s for half the year and didnt make in error in right field. The problem that I have is my size, I am 5 11 and weigh about 150 pounds and am kinda scrony. So this summer and beyond I have dedicated myself to the game of baseball. I want to be the leader of the team next year and am practicing every aspect of the game everyday, Im willing to do whatever it takes. So im asking do you think all the hard work will pay off or is it all for nothing.

You should not give on your dream instead you should pursue it even harder. When you get older those dreams that you didn't pursue will become regrets, and life is too short for that.
Hard work is how all the smaller players in the show got there. It's not you physical size that matters it's the size of your heart, and the desire you have. Honest work no performance enhancement stuff hard work. A couple of threads gave you some good advice, get in a good wooden bat summer league, work on agility, and flexibility drills in the off season. If you can have a buddy throw you batting practice as much as possible. The most important thing is to remain on top of your studies, because your education will be there long after your baseball

Getting the most out of your ability is never a bad idea. There's some satisfaction in that. You've already done better than lots of people in baseball ... like me.
Can you go on to play college ball? Maybe. We'll see what happens. The odds were always against you for making the major leagues, but you probably knew that a long time ago. Just keep playing, and we'll all see what happens. In the meantime, enjoy the ride.

NEVER give up on a dream. To get a better perspective of where you stand talent wise, check with the Ringor Baseball Showcase. They can provide you exposure to college coaches and major league scouts. You have plenty of time to grow and scouts are always looking for potential. Good Luck!

Do not give up. Keep striving. Size does not matter. Just show those college recruits what you are made of and I guarantee you someone would want you on their team even if it is a Division II progam. College baseball can really help you prepare for major league ball. Just do not overdo it in your training. Good luck!!!

No, not yet. But make sure you can still succeed in life if the whole baseball thing doesn't work out.

Get noticed, go to college, join a summer collegiate wooden bat league, do well there and be on your way!

Keep doing what you're doing. It could pay off!
But my advice is, have a back-up plan (career-wise) just in case.
